Upbringing
Everyone, meet Aether! (.rygh) Aether is a pangender individual which means that he identifies with many/any different genders. Her pronouns are She/her/he/him and he describes his sexuality as queer, meaning that she is attracted to multiple genders. (alfacoookie)Growing up, Aether had a life like no other; with two moms, one of them being a trans dragon and the other being a bird, he lived a majestic life filled with magic and never a dull moment. He soon grew closer and closer to her bird side, soon it evolved into a fascination of all flying things which is why as a child Aether joined bird clubs. [ben..tennyson] When he was younger, Aether would often go on adventures and watch practically any bird she could find. He would often submit anonymous articles about what she found while watching the birds. [Terzo, thenamelessghouls] Aether's mom taught him how to crochet and ever since then it's been a hobby of his in which he cherishes many memories of cozy nights with yarn around as her mom and him both joke around while watching movies together and this soon turned into a small business for Aether; Aether also took an interest in flying creatures and is now an ornithologist who volunteers to help birds as well. [ben..tennyson] Through exploring his fascination with birds along with his family heritage, Aether started to realize her shapeshifting abilities, learning she could turn into a bird. However, upon becoming one of the flock, she was not afraid, as the birds around her were her safe space and he instead found himself in his element. [phoenix.]When other people think of thieves, they don't normally think of cute, fluffy cats; Aether, on the other hand, knows that since he was packing up her crochet stall a random Saturday, you should never trust a cat when you have crocheted plushies around. So when the little white thief stole his most expensive plushie, a pink cow, without even considering paying or saying thank you, Aether had to chase the cat in order to get the plushie back, even if it meant running after it for hours through a dark forest to end up in a place, she had never seen before.(baumf) A summer camp that she had never even heard of before, it was… strange, to say the least, but there was no time to stop and take in the sights when he needed to catch that cat; she saw them fly up into a tree, the pink cow still in tow, and began climbing after them. He found the nook that the cat had snuck into, finding not only the cat-thief, but another fluffy cat; in that moment she decided to keep both the cats, scooping them into her arms, along with the stolen plush, and made his way back down the tree, now to figure out what this camp was…(eclipse0249) As Aether was making his way, the cats meowed and purred which made Aether realize that since he was now the owner of the cats, he should name them, and so he decided that the one on the cloud is Cielo and the other Zenith. [ben..tennyson]Aether heavily enjoys crocheting, finding ways to incorporate it into other things like painting and using her vast yarn collection to add texture. While he enjoys a good classic acrylic painting, she also likes to spice it up a little by adding bits of paper mache and yarn for a more textured look. (Azurite, kandiraverz). With his artistic abilities she also designs clothes, keeping her sketchbook near her constantly should an idea strike. Most of her designs involve crochetable objects, like scarves or sweaters, though occasionally she'll dabble in more traditional sewing designs. (Eileen, kandiraverz) Another hobby of Aether’s is making origami. Her favorite things to fold are creatures she's seen up in the sky with him, such as birds and butterflies. (cluiclaw) Aether has had an interest in singing since early childhood. He has gone from singing along to his favorite songs to joining her high school choir, to joining a band in camp. (cr0www)With a special interest in flying creatures, Aether spends his free time learning and flying with them. She has a whole bookshelf filled to the brim with bird books, dragon collectables, and even a bat plushie on the verge of falling off. (pretty.elf) Whenever he feels too shy or embarrassed he turns invisible. (KokichiLove) In her spare time, Aether enjoys listening to white noise and lofi. Some of his favorite artists to listen to are BABYMETAL, Waterparks, and Joost. (sp4ce.b0y) While Aether has the ability to soar through the sky whenever he pleases- an activity he does often, she loves being able to be up high or in the sky via other methods as he claims they “provide new perspectives and views that sometimes you can’t get while flying.” She loves getting to go on planes (he always has to have a window seat) and going to amusement parks or fairs to ride the ferris wheel and all the tallest roller coasters. (Gh0stieb00)Aether is in a poly relationship with Maurice and Vurr [Ice and Fire cabins], Aether and Maurice knew each other and were together before camp, but their relationship with Vurr started sometime after camp. Aether is acquaintances with Calypso [moon cabin]; the two met during camp. (alexthelesbiangoddess4171) Some of her other acquaintances at camp include Atlas and Lux. Aether is also part of a small friend group that includes himself, Cordelia, and Lyn! (sp4ce.b0y) He is also in a band with one of her partners [Vuur] who asked her to join.
